HOLIDAY CANDLELIGHT TOUR
The Candlelight Tour at The Henry Muhlenberg House has become a seasonal must-see event to start off the Holiday Season. This annual event is sponsored by The Historical Society of Trappe, Collegeville, Perkiomen Valley.
On Sunday, December 8th, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M, tour guides will welcome the community to this historic site to depict the way Christmas was celebrated in the 18th century by the Muhlenberg family.
Tours will begin at the Visitors Center where light refreshments will be served in the festive surroundings of our Gift Shop. Here you will also find a display of unique holiday gifts. A candlelit path leading to The Henry Muhlenberg House will allow visitors to step back in history and hear tales of this Revolutionary War era family.
The Henry Muhlenberg House is located at 201 W. Main Street in Trappe, across from St Luke's Church where parking is available. A donation of $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under age 12 will help to defray costs. Reservations are not required. For information call 610-489-7560 or visit www.trappehistoricalsociety.org.

TRAPPE ROAD PROGRAM
The Borough of Trappe has instituted a Road Program whereby all Borough owned roads in Trappe were put on a maintenance schedule for road repairs. The Borough's 2012 road project included E. College Avenue, W. College Avenue and E. First Ave.
As the road maintenance work gets underway, property owners should know that if you have damaged curbs you will be required to make the curb repairs. Curb repair and maintenance is the responsibility of the property owner. (See, TBC 286). As such, you may opt to have the repair work done yourself or, in the alternative, the Borough's contractor will make the necessary repairs and the property owner will be billed for the repair work.
The Road Program Schedule is subject to change depending on current circumstances. The Borough will advise residents of any changes. Resident should plan ahead to be prepared to make the necessary curbs repairs in a timely manner. Click here for a complete Road Program Schedule.
