Trappe Main Street
In Spring 2010, Trappe Borough began developing a long-term vision for Main Street in Trappe. Follow this page for updates on this ongoing process, including opportunities to participate.
Historic Survey
One part of this process was a historic survey by Wise Preservation Planning. A key finding of this review is that Trappe has good opportunities for (re-)development of its Main Street. The majority of Main Street lies within the Trappe Borough Historic District, stretching from Augustus Lutheran Church to the Speaker's House. It is long and straight, with great consistency in setbacks and architecure even among newer buildings.
